Florida Foreclosure Listings

There are lots of great reasons to live in the state of Florida. First of all there is water on three sides of the state so water sports abound. Great temperatures the year around mean you can literally enjoy the out of doors. If you like golf then this is going to seem like paradise to you. IF you have kids and like theme parks there is Sea World, Epcot Center, Walt Disney World etc, etc.

Florida Foreclosure Listings Those of you that like space can also see the Space Shuttle lift off from the space coast. The larger cities in the state are comprised of Jacksonville, Miami and then Fort Lauderdale. So if you are looking for things to do in the avenue of nightlife. It’s also hard to beat the state of Florida. You can go all day at recreation and party all night at the clubs.

On the negative side, the state is in bad shape when it comes to foreclosure. It seems like every day there is more bad information on the news about this state and people losing homes.

Florida foreclosure listings are 100 percent controlled by the court in the state and typically takes about six months to do. To do this the lender sues the borrower to get an order to foreclose and then the court decides and sets up the procedure to make that happen.

There may or may not be an order issued by the court that makes a publication in a local newspaper needed. If it is ordered then the lender is responsible for doing that to the terms set by the court. Once a sale is done there is not right of redemption. Although the courts are still able to offer that it rarely does so.

There is actually a period of time following the sale in which the court reveals the sale to make sure that a fair price was gotten for the property. This period of time typically is around ten days after which point the right of redemption, if any, ends.

In the event the court finds a good price was not gotten it refuse to confirm the sale and order another sale to take place.
